Garbage & Recycling

City of Toronto Solid Waste Management provides garbage, recycling, organic and yard waste pickup in the Beach. This section provides information on pickup schedules and collection areas. Toronto Solid Waste Management can be contacted by calling 311. For complete information visit their website.

Day Pickup: If you live in a Single Family House with Daytime Curbside Collection, your waste is collected on Tuesday mornings. Green Bin is picked up every week, while Blue Bin recycling and garbage are collected on alternating weeks.


Night Pickup (Main Road): If you live in an apartment building (with nine units or more); or own a business/commercial location; or you live in a home which fronts onto a main street (Queen St. E., Kingston Rd., Victoria Park Ave.), your waste is collected on Monday nights (South side of Queen St. E.) or Tuesday nights (North of Queen St. E.).
